This event was attended by 29 members. A very good attendance under the circumstances.
The Chairman, Geoff Thompson, opened the meeting by welcoming those present and reporting that sadly we had lost a number of Members since our last AGM in November 2021. Details were available on the Club website, and they were Rita Wilkinson, Pat Ockenden, Ray Swansborough, John Iden, Dave King, Harry and Muriel Clegg, Bert Deverill, John Ryley, Tom Smith, Jen Tomson and Alan Scott. He mentioned that the "First Wednesday" lunches had resumed and hoped that things were becoming more normal.
Geoff announced that the Officers were all willing to continue in office. All were elected by acclamation.
Nick Pickett provided a Treasurer's report, copies were available for members. The Club continues to have a healthy balance in the bank.
Geoff then presented our hard-working secretary, Lin Cooper, with a token of our appreciation in recognition of her continued good work and of her efforts in the administration of the event.
The AGM concluded by Geoff thanking the Officers for their good work in the past and the caterers for their efforts in preparing the meal. The Buffet was then opened.
Thanks are due to Southwater Sports Club for their hospitality and good service.
