This event was attended by 30 people which was a good turnout, considering the experiences of the Covid pandemic.
The Chairman, Geoff Thompson, opened the proceedings by welcoming everybody.
He reported that our Secretary Lin had received a good number of replies, but many were unable to attend because of advancing years, or had moved away from the area. Sadly we had been told of a number of deaths since the AGM, including Rita Wilkinson, Pat Ockenden, Ray Swansborough, John Iden, Dave King, and Harry and Muriel Clegg.
He then presented Lin with a plant in a carrier bag and invited us to proceed to Lunch.
As usual, the food was excellent, and we were unable to do full justice to the spread prepared for us, despite many making at least two visits to the buffet.
