This event was attended by 54 people and we were very pleased to see them all, including some new attenders, together with the partners who attended.
The Chairman, Frank Hart, opened proceedings by welcoming everybody, especially those who were new to the event.
Frank said that it would be helpful if members could join our YahooGroup. To join the Group you must be registered with Yahoo in the first place. To do this go to http://www.yahoogroups.com and follow the links to "Register". Our Group is called "wd21club" and is found under the heading "Friends". Find the group and then click on the link to "Join". Membership has to be approved by the Moderator (Terry Harper) and all postings are moderated to avoid any undesirable messages. If you already belong to Yahoo, you can join by sending a blank E-mail to wd21club-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
He concluded by presenting our Hon. Secretary Lin with a plant and a bottle of undisclosed nature, in recognition of her efforts.
As usual, the food was excellent, and we were unable to do full justice to the spread prepared for us, despite many making at least two visits to the buffet.
