This event was attended by 43 people and we were very pleased to see them all, including some new attenders, together with the partners who attended.
Unfortunately the Chairman, Derek Gosden was unable to attend, as he was in hospital. The Hon Treasurer opened proceedings by welcoming all those who came, noted that numbers were down as many members were unable to attend because of age or distance, and mentioned the names of members who had passed away since the AGM in October - Fred Ridge, Peter Hilliard, Harry Ritchie and Ron Garton, whose funeral was to take place in two days' time. He then presented our hard-working secretary, Lin Cooper, with a gift in recognition of her efforts in the administration of the event.
As usual, the food was excellent, and we were unable to do full justice to the spread prepared for us, despite many making at least two visits to the buffet.
