This event was attended by over 60 members and we were very pleased to see them all.
The Chairman, Derek Gosden opened the AGM by welcoming all those who came, and read out some messages from members unable to attend. He also reported the recent deaths of Harry Farragher, late of Estimating Department, and of our oldest member, Joe Farley.
He announced that there had been no further nominations for office, but fortunately all those serving had agreed to continue. He therefore declared that there would be no elections and that they would be appointed en bloc to serve another term.
He also announced the new web site address, and thanked Terry Harper for organising the transfer.
He then presented our hard-working secretary, Lin Cooper, with a token of our appreciation in recognition of her continued good work and of her efforts in the administration of the event.
The Treasurer, David Powdrill, gave his report and left copies of the accounts for anyone who wished to study them. The Club continues to have a healthy balance in the bank.
The AGM concluded with thanks to the Officers and teh Buffet was opened.
As usual, the food was excellent, and we were unable to do full justice to the spread prepared for us.
